Coming from the advocacy side of association management gives James Tobin the perspective and tools he needs to effectively lead the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).  “It was a training ground for how to deal with members and manage issues,” Tobin told CEO Update. He was promoted to CEO of NAHB on June 1, from his longtime position of executive vice president and chief lobbyist.
